MOD DUB POETS DISPENSE ACID WIT AND NORTHERN SUBSTANCE
The Beaus recently released their debut single (All’s Well That Ends Well) which succinctly and unashamedly combines the many influences that the young trio collectively share. Grafting since 2007, these Yorkshire mod dub poets are progressively getting the masses hooked on their blend of acid wit and Northern substance. BBC6 Music praised their “louche and stylish rock and roll insolence” and German national paper Der Freitag stated that a law should be introduced ensuring all minors enjoyed compulsory viewing of their self-produced music video, In The Red Corner (below).
