Interview With Skelocrats

FLOATY, FLEETING JAUNTINESS

Skelocrats are a band from Dublin who make brisk guitar-based pop music. Bronwyn, Micheal, Paddy and Padraig are all members of the Popical Island collective, meaning they also play in Land Lovers, Grand Pocket Orchestra, Groom, Lie Ins, Ginnels, No Monster Club and Deputy Fuzz.

Thus far, Skelocrats have released two EPs (Whip Crack Away and Hot Yoga) both of which are available together on the exhaustive collection The Complete Skelocrats (buy it here). Their latest venture sees them putting out a single via Eardrums Pop’s always free and always ace ePop series of releases. As well as No Exceptions, playable on our in-site hi-fi, the release (get it here) also features a Serge Gainsbourg cover and some specially commissioned artwork.
