Interview With Knesset

YOUNG, DENSELY TEXTURED, BROODING AND CRISP

Knesset are a four-piece from Phoenix, Arizona. They released their debut album (Coming of Age) last February. It’s a brooding affair typified by crisp drums, towering shoegaze textures, honest lyrics, gentle vocals, pangs of nostalgia and well-crafted guitar melodies. It’s young, sunny, excitable and occasionally veers into the experimental, thereby checking all the boxes you’d expect of a debut long-player.

Knesset have already  toured with and supported artists like former Negative Narrators Asobi Seksu (see their intraview here) and Her Space Holiday, and hope to capitalise on their growing buzz this summer.

Take a look at these photos they’ve so kindly taken for us and be sure to read the comments for added enlightenment. You can download Steady Hands here for nada and if you’re into it then you may want to order a copy of their album here.
