Interview With Flow Machines

ANONYMOUS PURVEYORS OF DUBBED-OUT DIGITAL GLITCHCRAFT

Manchester-based studio outfit Flow Machines make electronic pop songs with ebbing and flowing undercurrents of dubstep, using laptops, slack magic and glitchcraft. They are intent on keeping their identity a mystery and are yet to play live, give an interview or release a press photo, opting instead to focus 100% of their energy on studio projects and releasing their unique and edgy pop directly to their fans. You can therefore consider this an exclusive. My apologies for forgetting to hang out the digital bunting.

Flow Machines surfaced in late 2008 with a major reworking of The Human League’s classic flipside Hard Times. An album and remix EP followed and they started to make further oscillations with their remixes of Cornershop and The Lost Cavalry (see their intraview here). Last month Flow Machines released their latest single Any Other Day which you can download here. We’re committed to maintaining our communist pricing structure and laughing in inflation’s fugly face so as usual it’s free. If you like what you hear then you can download the whole EP here ahead of the forthcoming album (Hi-Res) dropping in January.
