Interview With Crash & The ‘Coots
PUTTING THE IN IN INVENTIVE
Crash & The ‘Coots hail from Wiltshire where they can usually be found holed up in a DIY studio, recording unconventional pop songs for the nouveau depression.
The band teamed up with new London label Heart Throb Records for the release of the John Coles Park EP – their de facto debut – last month. The EP featured tracks that helped garner a wealth of hype on blogs on both sides of the pond earlier this year. To tie in with the release, the band also made a brand new video for Emily (Hehe) which you can see below. The video reaffirms the nature of a band who put fun, inventiveness and experimentation at the forefront of what they do. Another prime example is this free download of Ca Pourrait Changer, which the astute amongst you will have already realised is a Brigitte Bardot cover.
