Interview With Arp Attack

SWEET AND SOUR ELECTRONICA WITH EDGY LOOPS

Arp Attack got in touch with us after seeing Cantaloupe’s recent intraview (here). We’re rather glad they did.

With their combination of smouldering vocals, soaring synths and quick-fire, no-holds-barred guitar licks – and an impressive string of performances that have seen them perform alongside the likes of Delphic, Chew Lips, Two Door Cinema Club, Everything Everything and Your Twenties (to name but a few) – you are sure to be hearing more from this triumvirate in the future.

The trio started their musical travels under the name Jazica, but changed their moniker in 2010 after some impressive live sessions for the BBC led to a slot at T In The Park. After opening a stage at Benicassim – and with a summer of festivals ahead – Arp Attack are releasing their debut EP on Hype Music next week. Until then, check out these rather nice digital dagguerreotypes, and download Devil’s Drop (Shooting Horses Remix) here for nowt.
